Richard Montelius picked up his first construction tools in 1989. Decades of hands-on work across roofing, concrete, remodeling, and exterior builds gave him a ground-level education that no classroom can replicate. He learned what quality looks like, what corners cut too fast cost homeowners later, and what it means to stand behind finished work.
In November 2019, Richard put his life savings on the line and opened R&R Construction And Restoration Service's LLC. It was a leap built on confidence in his craft and a genuine belief that homeowners in the Baltimore and Anne Arundel County area deserved a contractor who showed up, did the job right, and charged a fair price. The timing was hard. COVID arrived not long after, and like many small businesses, R&R faced real pressure in those early months. Richard and his team pushed through, kept working, and came out the other side stronger.
Today, R&R Construction And Restoration Service's LLC serves homeowners and property owners across a wide stretch of Central Maryland, including Halethorpe, Catonsville, Severn, Hanover, Elkridge, Ellicott City, Pasadena, Glen Burnie, Lansdowne, Millersville, Jessup, and Columbia.
